Definite: all played in finals except Jones who dressed for all playoff games and played in 2
Kopitar, Brown, Gaborik, Carter, Toffoli, Pearson, Stoll, King, Williams, Richards, Lewis, Clifford, Doughty, Muzzin, Voynov, Mitchell, Martinez, Greene, Quick, Jones = 20

Pretty Sure: both played in playoffs but not finals
Nolan (64), Regher (79) = 2

Not Sure - but I think he should be: played in playoffs but not finals
Schultz (0) = 1

Not Sure - but I think he might be: didn't play in or dress for any playoff games
Fraser (33) = 1

Total = 24

I'll modify/update per comments until the list is announced by Kings.

Notes:
Others who played for Kings this year: none played in or dressed for any playoff games
Vey (18), Campbell (3)

Others who played for Kings this year no longer on team:
Frattin (40), Carcillo (26), Scrivens (19)

Games played with Kings during regular season = (xx)

Nolan and Regehr go in the definite slot. They automatically qualify based on games played during the regular season.

Schultz and Fraser are going to be interesting. Schultz was key when both Regehr and Mitchell were out and I think he deserves it. Fraser was always good in the room when he was a regular and didn't complain one bit when he was sent to Manchester.

Pretty sure they'll petition for Fraser (and get it) like they did Westgarth. Would be nice if Schultz could too after being in the minors all year, not complaining, helping the kids down there, and then stepping in for a little in the playoffs.

I would like Campbell to be on the cup My reason is hes been a long tern soldier in the ahl Never heard a word about it. Also think the professor who carried this team when quick was out.

well thats to bad because he does deserve it imo. Without him we may not have made the playoffs ( if his replacement sucked)

Same reason why we didn't have JMFJ on the Cup in 2012. I agree that Scrivens was a huge part of this team for a bit there. I'll always root for the guy because of it.

IIRC in 2012 Westgarth and Drewiske were on the Kings roster throughout the entire season and playoffs and their names were rightfully included on the cup.

Also in 2012 Loktionov was the only guy to play in the playoffs (2 games) but not get his name on cup. Plus he played in 39 regular season games. Tough situation for him even though he spent about half the season in Manchester. BTW, Clifford played in 3 playoff games but also played in 81 regular season games.

I forgot about Fraser being on the roster for most of this past season, except for the stints in Manchester. Big brain cramp on my part. I'm going to put him on the list.

Putting a Ranger player on there would be the ultimate Kings troll job. :)

names on the cup

Who if any of the players that didn't meet the requirement will get their names on the cup.
In 2012 the Kings put 24 players names on the cup.
This year they have 22 that are locks.
All those that played in the final plus Regehr and Nolan.
So which of these players might get there.
Frasier- Only played 33 games 8 shy of the mark and played half the season in Manchester. But he showed he was a team player by going and not complaining.
Vey- Only played 18 games and most of the season was spent in Manchester.
Schultz- Played 0 games in the regular season. But came in and played 7 big games in the playoffs.
Campbell- Only played 3 games and spend most of the year in Manchester.

If the Kings go with 24 again I would think that Frasier and Schultz go on the cup.
Fraser because he is a vet that did what was asked and has been with the team for awhile and is only 8 games short. He is the easy one.
Schultz- Without him do we even make it out of the second round. Since it would have required bringing in a rookie to play on D.

Interested to hear what other opinions are.

There is more to Loktionov. The names hadn't been finalized and with the lockout looming they assigned him to Manchester. He didn't go and went to Russia. He did come back but I think that is one of the reasons he didn't end up there.

Imo

Guys traded away - Frattin, Carcillo, Scrivens - SHOULD NOT get their name on the cup. See 2012 - Johnson, Moreau, Hunter.

Vey and Campbell do not meet the criteria and did not contribute enough to the Kings to be included on the cup. Being a "good soldier" in Manchester all or most of the season doesn't count.

I don't know what the deal is as far as getting a Stanley Cup ring for guys who didn't get their name on the cup. I have no problem with a 'looser' standard.
