It is interesting to see all of the responses on here, thats why I posted this thread, but cause I wanted to see if it angered fans the way it angers me.
To the people who said "If you have the same people asking you the same questions your whole career, the you would give the same boring answers"
I say that if you have gotten to the point in your life where people want to hear what you think on a regular basis, then you should tell them what you really think. And if these answers are really what you think then you have lost yourself somewhere, im sure somewhere along the time each player had some kind of attitude in order to survive in a competitive world, and now that they are on the top it turns into cliche.

Also, people who say that their interview doesn't reflect how much they care, as if they are really really mad and just completely hiding in it front of the fans.

Really the point is that they are in a position where they SHOULD be SHOWING their anger, they are not 9-5, they are close to last place for the 3rd year in a row, and should not be acting like all is well....it's annoying

I was a little annoyed with Pommer's post-game interview yesterday, he wouldn't take responsibility for that awful turnover that lead to the tying goal, and Paul Hamilton said he looked at him like he was crazy when he asked about the turnover. This team's leadership really went down the toilet when we let Drury and Briere walk.

I wonder how vocal the players are behind closed doors, I'd bet it's a very quiet bunch.

I think player interviews are mostly meaningless.

If your team is sucking, how many different ways can you talk about that?

If your team is doing well, how many different ways can you talk about that.

People far more articulate than professional athletes would have a tough time trying to say the same things in different ways night after night after night.

I think they care but most of them are so guarded that a reporter is going to take something they say out of context and make it sound wrong. The others, in Miller's case, just let loose.
