Agreed. I can't see a way Kerfoot and Holl are never on the Leafs, until they're our own-rentals and then go elsewhere.

I really hope I'm reading this wrong, but the way CJ puts that last part tells me it's a serious injury. Hopefully not though and it's just CJ saying the usual team will comment on it

That’s really unfortunate. Liljegren showed a lot of growth last year and I was excited to see what he could do this year. Hope it’s nothing too serious.

Man I was actually excited for him. Thought this was gonna be a big year for him, i just hope it’s not a big injury and when he does come back keefe doesn’t make it as hard for him to make the lineup like he did the first time

Now it makes sense why the Leafs offered matching contracts for Liljegren and Sandin. LTIR for one, and the other fits in perfectly to the penny.

So that makes one assume he's been injured for quite awhile, and it might explain why he was pulled from the Tampa series in favour of Holl. It may have been because of injury and not strictly performance.....

it’s never good that someone gets injured, especially a young up and comer. I think though this might expedite the Sandin signing. If I were him I would be getting a contract done ASAP and having the camp or my life to make sure it’s damn hard for Liljegren to get back in post injury or play so good it’s Holl who comes out once Liljegren is back.
