that is playoff Marner right there. Afraid to take a hit in his own zone and Leafs lose possession.
That is why I am ok with him moving on as he is not a player performer. Afraid to play the hard game.
Nylander on the other hand elevates his game in the playoffs.

How are you afraid to the a hit when you are in a puck battle? Inquiring minds want to know.
Can someone explain how a genius like Dubas, analytically forward. Smartest guy in the room. Never thought to spread out our four highest paid forwards over three lines? It's really good for the Leafs that Matthews can carry Domi and Bert to being a great top line, but it's erased by Tavares and Marner not being able to exploit mismatches
