If they see this roster as a .400 type team then they need to change the roster and if they see it as a winning roster then they need to change the coach. Pick one.
Btw, Acciari was responsible for the second goal, not Karlsson.
Have you considered doing nothing and then telling the media that you(Dubas) and Sully are "working hard to figure this thing out" ?

Caps don't even take them that seriously anymore. They look like they're conserving energy for the Blues game tomorrow.
They'll win 4-2, they'll score a third, shut it down and then an empty netter by Wilson or Ovy.

Honestly our defense is f-ing terrible. The only good player on it is EK and he has his warts defensively.
Letang is no longer capable of playing the minutes he's getting. He'd be fine as like a #4 on a good team with a good partner to help him out but he's not top 3 d material any more.
Graves still sucks. St Ivany sucks.
Marcus Pettersson was good but his game has gone right off a cliff this year.
Grezlyk sucks.
I do think a new coach could do better with this defense because a new coach would probably be smart enough to not have the team playing such a reckless brand of hockey but even so I think this d is f-ing garbage regardless of who you get to coach it. It's not good.

Maybe it's the drugs but I actually have more hope that they finally replace Sullivan after this year than the previous couple. It'll be some tearful goodbye as they mutually part ways, I'm sure, but three misses in a row, and this one looking to be real bad, they gotta--right?
More likely: Dubas trades all the UFAs at the deadline, does nothing with Sullivan, and that's about all you get. Maybe if you're really lucky the Pens win the lottery. But James Hagens is still gonna be playing for....Mike Sullivan.
