I actually thought he was very slow on that play and Spawling was able to get the shot away because of it.

A little slow, yeah. But aside from Beaulieu I don't think any of our D could've caught up. Gonchar was smart and effective -- I'm not crazy about playing him so much but I'll give him credit.

Tinordi was playing safer, not better. Let Beaulieu push his game and make mistakes -- he'll be as responsible with the added offence.

That's garbage. He was better and safer.

Beaulieu has shown next to nothing offensively in the NHL. Frankly it remains to be seen if he can translate it to the NHL.

I could live with Beaulieu mistakes if he was actually doing something offensively

Every time we get some momentum someone does something dumb. Emelin drills it around the boards no one there.

Well, the Canadiens are playing fine hockey, keeping the pressure on the Penguins. Stupid missed assigments and turnovers are costing this team, otherwise they're playing better than Pittsburgh.

Gonchar looking like our best D-man so far in this game, Gilbert and Beaulieu duo being one of the reasons they're trailing.

That Gilbert shot was...embarassing. Like my typical slapshot the first time I get on a ice rink in november playing with my 20 years old equipment.
