I missed whatever went on last game regarding this, but sv% in a vacuum isn't the be all, end all. Oilers fans, say what you want about them, but they'd swear Dubnyk just had that knack for giving up a back-breaking, ECHL level type goal at the worst times. end of the night, sure, 3 goals on 35 shots doesn't look bad, but you've got to look at where the shots are coming from, HOW they actually go in etc.

Some folks don't even understand SV%. (Cause and effect, variance, correlation ETC.)
