I'm not surprised. Crosby is very marketable and they've pretty recently won 3 cups.

The real problem for the NHL is that no one really gives a shit about Edmonton or McDavid.
I think Seattle having so many followers already is kinda surprising

Ehh I think the Oilers are already quite high for a small market canadian team that hasn't won anything in 30something years. That's the McDavid bump right there, I'm not sure how much higher you'd expect them.

I'm surprised they're ahead of recent winners like VGK, COL, TB, LA, STL and the always popular PHI

Well yeah, they’ve been the NHL’s marquee team for most of the last two decades and have the face of the league on their team.

No shock the Blackhawks are second most either.

Where is Instagram on the I care o meter ? I am in the age group it was for originally lol idk if it's still that popular ?

I'm just saying that it's a shame that the best player and his team is so unmarketable that it costs the NHL a ton of money in the long run.

Now imagine if the best player in the world had some personality and had won a few rings already on a bigger team.

What a shitty number

What’s the lakers number? Or the Yankees?

Also, bots!

Dodgers are 3.6 million and Yankees are 3.3 million, so pretty impressive to be fairly close to baseball’s best.

Lakers are 23.8 million and the NBA in general seems to make up more than the NFL, MLB, and NHL combined.

Well the other options were Arizona, Buffalo, or Toronto. Safe to say that he wasn't going to win any rings in short order on the org. that won the 2015 lottery.
