Team has had its moments but overall, once again, dont look good.

DD has looked decent. Galchenyuk has had moments but need more.

Outside of Montoya, team looks flat and lacks cohesion

Typical October hockey. 5-6 games and the timing and fitness level should be on track

Even at that, they had chemistry for one season. They were beyond atrocious for 08-09.

I'm starting to understand the theory behind playing the Byron's and Darche's of this world with Plekanec... it doesn't matter who his line mates are he doesn't build chemistry with any of them.

That's why signing Jagr was a must.

Plekanec is not the kind of player to play with radulov. Rads goes into the corners but is too creative for plekanec, who likes to shoot from wherever. Galchenyuk/Radulov really compliment one another, especially because rads can win the puck in the corners for galch

David Lemieux is turning into Stephane Ouellet at a rapid pace hahahahahaha. Couple more years and we won't understand crap.

Desharnais back on the first line after 3 regular season games. Impressive.

I think the team will get better with time. We are just 3 games in. If after 20 games our first 2 lines still seem to strugle more than they should, then maybe we should start to worry. Atm, Im not worried at all.

Who has had as much as a half season without interruption to find any with him? That's the real question. He is used to babysitting struggling players until they're ready again for the honour of playing next to Desharnais, lol.

Well it shouldn't you 2 full years to build chemistry. That's actually what chemistry is all about. It's the ability to be able to play together in a short period of time. This is not a waiting business. Results need to happen fast. Plekanec, for the player he is suppose to be and for the time he's been in the league should be the one who should be driving the play. Shouldn't be a good complementary to other players. Pleks is a good player. Just don't believe he's improving to say the least. Just doesn't have that offensive flair anymore.

(Now, let's watch him score 2 goals in the 3rd)

Second time I said it but it was simply to say that for this one game, I'm ok with it. Its my opinion and seems to be the consensus for tonight anyways. He made a nice play at the end of the first and that's about it. He's been making risky plays or low percentage plays more often than usual tonight.

Hardly. His line continues to have the best ratio of shots for/against on the team, as far as I can tell. Max and Gallagher have bumped up their shot totals tonight, though. He and Radulov generated most of the pressure in the first half of the 1st period, too, since it seems you missed it. And you'll also notice that the Pens are 0/5 on the PP.

Just swapping Radulov and Gallagher might be all the lines need to maximize chemistry.

Gallagher fires any line up, and Radulov can really dish the puck and dangle which with finishers like Patch and Galchenyuk could be deadly.

I'd like to see it tried. Plekanec has always played well with patches and Gallagher anyways. I like Plekanec but he doesn't have the vision of creativity to play with a radulov in my opinion.
