Hilarious that Sully's idea of an in-game adjustment is taking Cody Glass off of 4C where he belongs, and putting that three-goal, 11-assist piece of shit back with Evgeni Malkin. That'll fix things.
Will be rough as long as we have Mike Sullivan employed.

Agreed. Every morning I wake up and see that the Pens lost, preferably big and embarrassing, is a good morning right now. Better draft pick and every embarrassing loss increases the chance of Sullivan getting fired by 0.000000000000001%. We are still not at 1%,, but still.
nothing like an utter humiliation by your equally awful cross state rivals to throw some cold water on your face a week ahead of the trade deadline

I don't know how people even watch this Pens team any more, I fast forward most of the games and they still feel like a waste of time. Yes, the roster sucks but you can get 18 random skaters from the AHL and they would play better defense than ours... with proper coaching that is. The Penguins haven't had proper defensive structure for years now, except for brief flashes in the pan when the goalie is in the zone, there is an injury crisis or something else has caused the team to actually play some hard and more importantly smart defense.
It's like they think they are still a star-studded team that can outscore everyone, so they should take it easy on defense most nights. It's getting more bizarre by the minute since the roster becomes ever weaker, yet the effort is ever more lackadaisical and it really doesn't seem like they are tanking on purpose. More like stumbling and falling into the tank head first, so to speak.

If you are a Sully fanboy, you could argue no coach would win with this current pathetic group of players or goaltending.
Sullivan is being let down by the depth players he had a hand in signing because he wanted to employ two fourth lines and a neutered line 2, all in the name of playing low event hockey and “good” defense, which never materialized. I feel sooooo bad for him!

I'm glad the Penguins are back to being a 1st shot 1st goal team. Those last few games where it was 2nd or 3rd shot goals just didn't feel right.
