I made a playoff push earlier today too. One might say it was a bit of a splash.

Yeah, it looks like it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. But really the org should be on top of these kinds of things-- it's a cool gesture to do and requires nothing all that much to make it even cooler.
Hell, it's not like the organization loses anything and we get good publicity out of it.

I have my doubts of spur of the moment. Kid with cancer and probably a whole fire department showing up for a morning skate doesn't seem the go unrecognized. And the wording alone leads me to believe otherwise.
