Say what you will, but at least in 2012 or whenever it was when Sid and Geno both missed a bunch of time, we had younger guys who were hungry and eager to earn a spot. Now the guys all look scared because their mindset is all wrong. They’re sitting on the bench wishing Sid or Geno would save them.

That’s on the both the coach and gm. The coach for wanting “safe, predicable” players, and the GM who enables him.
