I think the insiders just jumped the gun when they heard Carlo to Toronto, and seen those guys get pulled from Leafs practice
 
Dewar has his uses but couldn't buy a goal in TOR. There was really no reason to keep him following the return of Jankrok and the acquisition of Laughton.

Timmins is a decent number six/seven. Carlo is definitely an upgrade over him.

I think the answer is so that the prospects can develop in a stretch run for WBS, rather than have Sullivan play them for 6 minutes a night...otherwise there's not a single reason why the Penguins should be paying assets for waiver-caliber nonsense. Sullivan is going to be obsessed with these dregs.

Timmons can be a decent RD which are not in big supply. I like his fition a team in need of younger RD with right shots. No idea on the other player but for a 5th no big deal. Dubas knows then very well so he must like what they can bring or develop into eventually.
