Fine I guess if we're getting him for free. My issue with him is hockey sense, never feels like he knows the right thing to do with the puck.

They know what they’re getting. That’s for sure.

Poor guy finally got a new opportunity, and it doesn’t last 40 games. Who would’ve ever thought, his best opportunity might have always been in Pittsburgh.

It’s a business but this is actually a good point. Have to imagine thier parents had the flights ready to go to spend the holidays with them in St. Louis. Unless they’re on a road trip.
P.O. was about to get sent down to the AHL. If anything, the Blues did him a solid by trading him to a team he has played for before.

Wish POJ all the best but I just don’t think he’s a NHL caliber player right now. He can fill in for a time and be functional, but long term I have my doubts.

Was most likely about to get put on waivers and Armstrong asked him if there was somewhere he would rather go to rather than possibly get claimed by a team he didn't want to go to.

Throw me in the camp who doesn't get it. Right before the holidays, you telling me you can't get future considerations in 2 weeks?

There's nothing worse than sending a guy in his 20s to a new team within a week of a holiday. It's a holiday, it's a sacred time for 20-something year old men, to have them make any changes within a week of a holiday they're just too brittle at that age. Bad behavior!

The Pens D is decimated with injuries now, we can’t wait 2 weeks. So, no. Chances are we wouldn’t take him for free in 2 weeks.

POJ has also spent the past several years here. I’m sure he’s more familiar with Pittsburgh than St Louis at this point.

The players and league agreed on a time frame for a holiday freeze. This is not during that time. I don’t get the confusion.

The people in here are being very weird about this. Several players have been waived and traded these past few days but somehow we should feel bad for POJ for some reason?
