Yeah and no, can't say he ever signed a super team friendly deal either. His first contract was 15.34% of cap or 13.6m AAV today, his current for 13.53% or 12m today and that was after missing 101 games out of 164 the past two years prior to signing. 104.4 million dollars after most people were wondering if he was one hit away from retirement. Penguins did very well by him.
