I don't like the Novak for Bunting swap for them and I feel they could have gotten more than a 4th rounder if they would have just traded Schenn themselves.

Feels like there's more to it for Dubas than just what's on paper, gotta be a leafs angle with their rumored Schenns interest.

Maybe it's as simple as Rakell for Schenn+? Blues get an upgrade at forward as they push for a playoff spot, the Schenns get to play together, and the Pens get some form of additional prospect or pick capital from STL.

I feel like this trade is a win for the Penguins solely because I think it makes less sense for the Predators than it does for the Penguins.

This feels like a trade where the insiders don't know about the 3rd team who would be giving assets to Nashville and getting Novak & Schenn

Yeah I just don't understand this from Nashville. Novak for Bunting is a losing swap for them IMO and I think they could have done better than a 4th for Schenn.

I don't understand why the Penguins wanted Schenn unless they flip him, but I'm very happy with a Bunting for Novak swap. If Rakell goes, I wouldn't be surprised at all for Novak to just slide into his spot.
