The right answer is bury him. It's the same 3 years (costing roughly the same) and it is over with, not another 3 years of losing space no matter how small it is.

Again, we have zero need or reason to waste assets moving him and his contract. Its not happening.
Then maybe a straight swap of contracts like Jarry and Goodrow where the Pens retain some to make it appealing for the Sharks to take on an extra year?

Why would the Pens want Goodrow?

They need to make space for the young players and have too many crappy old forwards as it is.
