Too much lol
That's the real trick, isn't it? I wasn't OK trading Jarry any having nothing but Blomqvist and Larrson on the roster. Now you've got a platoon quality goalie on the payroll. There's at least an opportunity to deal Jarry if there's a buyer. Now trade Jarry ASAP.
A fan of Ned (as you can surmise from the user name).hmmm… last three years .901, .895, .902 -17GSAA, QS in the 40s.
tbh, I had a positive opinion of him only seeing a lot of his games last year. I wasa little surprised his stats were so meh.A fan of Ned (as you can surmise from the user name).
Sometimes there is one more important stat-- the Penguins paced for 110 points with Ned as starter.
Ned wasn't much better than Jarry. Actually he wasn't. What changed during the last 15 or so games was the Penguins started to score more finally and Ned wasn't that great given his numbers. Pens just scored more and played better with Bunting and playing some youth more.Excellent. Been a fan of Ned for a long time, he played really well for the Penguins.
I know people that goalies are voodoo - and to some degree they are, because team effects and all that - but Jarry and Ned for ~$7.5 mil is one of the better bargain duos out there in terms of talent.
Of course, Ryan Graves and the like exist in front of them, which makes life hell...but in a vacuum, this is exceptional value.
