His shot is cooked and we both know it. I love the guy but that's kinda that.

He can't even put 'em in wide open nets anymore.

EDIT: Dude can clearly still do stuff out there. His vision, ability to dish and play through traffic is still there. He could wrap up his career by being a bit of a Joe Thorntonov. But that would require at least one linemate that works with what he still does... like a natural goal scorer. But that ain't happenin' so just try to enjoy the occasional one that floats in off his Cooperalls IDK.

I think it was Rossi who wrote in one of his articles about how it's inevitable that Sid will pass Mario in goals and like...I dunno. Points? Sure. Goals....I don't know. Sid's quite a ways behind Mario still. 86 goals to tie him.

That's a lot of goals at the current goalscoring pace Sid has been at and his goalscoring figures to continue to decline as he gets older.

I think Sid's passing and vision will hold on a bit longer so I'm fairly sure he'll pass Mario in points but I'm not convinced he gets by him in goals unless he's going to play into his 40s.
