I'm a leafs fan and this is such an idiotic proposal! It's clear you have NOT done ANY research, because Crosby has a full NMC clause, and I highly doubt he agrees to move to the Leafs, he either remains a Penguin for life or he agrees to go to Montreal (that's the team he said he would be willing to play with).
The 2nd thing you showed no consideration for, is the Leafs have Matthews and JT ahead of him here, do you really think the leafs would pay their 3C nearly 9 million? Like where are your brain cells here?
Thirdly, and this combines points 1 and 2- If Crosby came here, he'd be the 3C! Do you really think he would waive his NMC to come here to play a measely 12ish minutes a night in a very limited role?
