Also you know it’s a sign of the apocalypse when Horwitz cranks a HR against a lefty

I legit wouldn’t be surprised if that was his first one in the MLB. And I just looked, it wasn’t his first but it was his second

If the Pirates survive and go far this year, the Tyler Callihan game will go down in Pirates lore.

If we get swept consecutively and go under .500, this thing is spiraling. Now, fine, we probably lose with Keller tomorrow but we get a much easier schedule starting from over .500 now.

Soto didn't make a bad pitch to Ohtani. It's Ohtani.

Ohtani may be the greatest player I've ever watched............wow
I think he's the greatest player of all time. We'll see where the numbers end at the end of his career, but he's Babe Ruth with modern athletes as his competition, not just white dudes that drink rot guy whiskey and smoke a pack a day.

If Callihan is legit...this offense is scary.

Would have to look at his advanced metrics

I highly doubt he's legit, but minor leaguers can lock in and hit tanks, too.

If a guy like him went on a heater randomly over the next week and helped us go 5-2 or something that would be a huge contribution.

Prime Arod was nuts, Bonds would have so much better numbers if pitchers actually threw to him and if the MLB didn't force him out of the league after leading the league in OBP and OPS at 40.

As good as Ohtani is, he's no Bonds at the plate.

Yah i remember when Yorke was on fire for a week. But sometimes a guy just breaks out and never looks back.

Nice to see the other team's bullpen implode and have a costly error. Even better when it's the Dodgers.

I think Callihan and his agent would be happy if he was Mangum.

Speaking of which.
Mangum is hugely important over this next stretch especially if Griffin is out longer. He seems to be locked in-ish.

Finally, where is Esmerlyn Valdez already. Why is Cook here and not him. We are facing a lefty, and we want to give Ozuna a last chance, I get it. So DH Ozuna and put Valdez in right please.
