Just disappointed about this game. Just can’t seem to solve Varlamov (can’t seem to beet anybody but the Rangers). They played slow and didn’t seem to be in the game mentally, to much east-west passing not sharp and a few defensive gaffs. Islanders played a smothering defense. Going to have to figure a way to break that in the playoffs. Hate losing to that gutter trash from Long Island.
Ok on to Sunday against the Flyers.
Can’t believe that they are going to not play Yandle and break his streak. That blows

Positive is McKegg and Reaves should be the first two forwards scratched when healthy.

There is no fixing that third d pair though, fortunately in the playoffs in close games they will be playing 8-10 minutes.

There's nothing to really analyze, here, anyway.

Every single player (other than the 4th line) was bad. They were all out of sync. Completely sloppy.

The 4th line should play like that most nights. Everyone else needs to burn this tape and move the f*** on. Nothing to be learned from revisiting any of that.

Sometimes I think they can go on a deep playoff run...and then they go and play like that....every goalie in the league would've posted a shutout against that effort.
