I’m not sure how sustainable this is.

I know you’re not supposed to change a winning lineup, but the way this game went I think might let Stecher get back in.

All I know about the PK is they're turning Kulak into a pylon. They're running the exact same 2 plays every time and they're both at his expense.

Eichel to Stone behind the net to Olofsson, or Eichel cross seam to Olofsson.

Great result. I hope at least one of Henrique or Emberson is out on Saturday. Otherwise not much to tinker with.

I don't think they'll mess with things though. Emberson is being sheltered and that's not a great thing to have to do, especially as they go down the stretch and long into the playoffs hopefully. Henrique I could do without but they aren't going to sit him either. Not really happy about that veteran entitlement but there it is. He is very good in the dot though (Draisaitl and him are sitting at about 55% post season thus far).

Think Kulak is the only guy I worry about. And maybe that is unfounded. Bouch played insane minutes last playoffs and did well still. Nurse has an elite athletic pedigree, per MacT. Klingberg is pretty efficient with his play.

Hill was absolute garbage tonight. Said he was looking like Skinner. He seems to be having back problems but trying to play through. Vegas need to go with somebody else in net. Not just the 5 goals given up but he was beat on several others and his teammates managed to save his bacon. Then the two posts in OT, mind you nobody is stopping those ones.

Vegas D really panicking at worst moments. When we do get chances theres some doozies. That play by Petrangelo just at the end of the 5min major. You just cannot make that play. That was an inch from being game right there.

Don’t even mention Vegas changing goalies mid series……..

First of all, I am very happy that the Oilers won, especially with a great effort on the part of Pickard...

BUT

The officials totally gift wrapped that game for the Oilers despite their terrible play. Especially those two passengers: Leon and Connor...

If the Oilers continue to play the rest of the series the way that they did tonight, vegas is definitely going to come back and advance into the next round.

You must be joking. Vegas had 5 power plays to 3 in regulation. They would have done the usual no penalties in OT if Roy didn't cross check someone in the face.

Refs handed the Oil an absolute gift missing that call. If there was going to be a phantom call made, they would have made the blatantly obvious one.

PK was brutal and McDavid and Draisaitl had one of their worst games if not their worst game of the playoffs so far. Kudos to Vegas' top line for really playing them well. Obviously EDM should have gotten a penalty in that OT so that had to be frustrating. The Oil got really lucky and then McDrai decided enough was enough. Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite them down the road as often these type of things end up evening itself out. lol

They can make all the stupid categories they want. Overcoming a 1 goal first period deficit isn’t all that impressive. It just means the Oilers need to be prepared to play at the drop of the puck for a change.

It's not like they made up the category, it is still a comeback win, even if it "didn't feel like one". 100% agree with the bolded though. Frustrating that they can't start on time. Hopefully next game

Its even better this moron is from Central Alberta and yet somehow picked the wrong club and being angry about it forever. I thought most from Red Deer area and most of province were Oilers fans?

Most people I know even from Calgary don't pick that club...
