We got lucky on that no call, but it’s not like we haven’t been screwed over worse. The refs literally let Byfield cover the puck in the crease. Feels more like karma balancing out in our favour for a change

Those passes we allowed on the PK were so bad. Just plain rude to Pickard. Really wish we could get even 75% of our PK of last playoffs.

The Peter Angelo goal not great, but I think Pickard was worried about his leg hurting after Hertl fell on it, and he was distracted. Just bad luck.

Hard to believe that this 2024-25 Oiler power play is the same one we saw for so many of the MC-Drai years. Not much intensity. I thought that half of that 5 minute major was simply wasted?

I think we'll be fine, riding 5 averaging 20 is not the end of the world, especially considering we went late into OT for this one. most teams shorten their bench come playoffs and give their top guys more ice time. we have an Ekholm defrosting the deeper we make it and guys like Bouchard and Nurse eat their minutes for breakfast
