Besides the tipped goal (as it’s poor to blame any goalie for that) Pickard let in goals you guys crucify Skinner for tonight and in his other starts.

If Skinner played this game you guys would be complaining about him giving up the lead in the third and Mcdrai saving his ass etc.

Those cross crease passes on the powerplay are rarely stopped if they're shot like that. If anyone blamed Skinner for goals like that (and many did) they're idiots.

BUT, Pickard made a ton of massive athletic saves that Skinner would likely not have stopped due to his goaltending style.

Listen to what he was saying. He was explaining why guys can feel real attached with their goalies. The backup does a ton of work that gets them close to players, guys seem to go extra hard for their backup and celebrate harder when they do well.

It was a missed call, they f***ing happen. The goal wasn't scored on it, Perry, McDavid and Draisaitl won the game in a moment of greatness.

If you can't deal with that, then I don't know what to tell you.

First of all, I am very happy that the Oilers won, especially with a great effort on the part of Pickard...

BUT

The officials totally gift wrapped that game for the Oilers despite their terrible play. Especially those two passengers: Leon and Connor...

If the Oilers continue to play the rest of the series the way that they did tonight, vegas is definitely going to come back and advance into the next round.

Got lucky with the Arvidsson missed call, for sure, but Vegas also got lucky with a few missed chances by the Oilers.

Not a fan of Arviddson laughing about it on the bench after. I'm an Oilers fan but that reaction by him is disgusting. He spilled somebody head first into boards putting stick in legs and he's laughing on the bench. Oilers got away with a high stick and interference in OT as well but I'll take it because as a team we seldom get beneficial officiating.

We don’t know what he was laughing at. Can’t judge a guys without knowing context. I know folks that smile (or laugh) when they are anxious or nervous. A teammate may have said “you got lucky” and him anxiously smiling. I don’t think he was laughing because he injured someone.
