I can only comment on Boyle, as he's the only one I've seen. It's hard to say whether or not he'll ever be a first liner. He doesn't have very good foot speed, but he has good skating speed.
At 6'7, he has a lot of potential. He has improved every year since being drafted, and is considered an early Hobey Baker candidate for next season. He's very good on the face-offs up front, yet was used as a defenseman on the PK. He may not have top end skills with stickhandling or passing, but if not for his top end potential, he'd be valuable to any NHL club just because of his versatility.
