This tournament is always a bit of wildcard.
This year isn't different there's talent across the CHL, Medicine Hat is a talented club from the western hockey league, Moncton and Rimouski are equally as talented and host and Quebec League represented champions and London... is well London.
Each team will bring something to this tournament that shows the talent across the CHL. So to say one team will walk through this tournament is hard to find a straight forward answer. However not knowing the other teams very well I'd say London will be likely the heavy favorites to be knocked off the top of the mountain in the CHL.
There are many key pieces that the Knights have that any junior hockey fan has to respect, one Dale Hunter is the most competitive coaches/owners in the CHL, two his team's are one of the most hardest blue-collar type teams I've seen in decades as an OHL fan. And finally his roster is one of the most complete rosters that have different aspects that can pick even the most talented clubs apart on the scoresheet most nights.
Even as an Owen Sound fan who sees the Knights play regularly in a season rivalry as a divisional opponent, I don't know if there's a team in the CHL this year who match there intensity and work ethic throughout this tournament and jump out of the gate fast enough to pick apart the minimal flaws in the Knights game plan that teams like the Attack and Generals were able to get limited success on.
Will see how this shakes out on the 24th when Moncton is the first team team to meet the powerhouse Knights.
