Same (born in 70)...And the 'Sleestaks' - moved like 10 feet per hour :laugh:

Gotta luv the '70s.
There were only three costumes. Lol.
"Dad" was fired after the second season for trying to get kids paid for the lunchboxes sold with their faces on it. In the third season the stories stop being consistent.
Great science fantasy in the vein of Jules Verne and Edgar Rice Burroughs. An influence on the Lost tv show.
A reboot was done in the 90's or somesuch.
Walter Koenig, Chekov from Star Trek, created the character of Enik who described the Altrusian culture was nearly identical to the Vulcans. He tried to travel forward in time but ended up backwards meeting his ancestors the primitive and violent Sleestaks. It was later revealed to Enik, to his horror, he did go forward in time discovering the Sleestaks were his ancestors, not the other way around.
One has to wonder if this happened to the Vulcans as well...
