I really should have planned my life better, I'm about 4 hours from Calgary and have a relative in Wickenburg. If I wanted I could have seen these guys 3 times in the last few weeks.

Close. They are offering sponsors comps to make sure it's a full building. Good paid crowd though, especially for a Thursday in October.

Doubt it, dude in that video was wearing a Yotes jersey. I am assuming this guy is a Ranger fan.

Edit: I am probably wrong. The OP is the grandpa, that was definitely his son or daughter in the video. And his signature or whatever it is called says "henriks pop". Pretty cool the family was on tv.

Wow guys, just got home from the game and yes that sounds like it was my daughter and grandson. She had on a Blue Beukeboom and Henrik had a White Winter Classic and the sign said Hi Henrik, my name is Henrik too. (which it is) They couldn't get Lundqvist's attention but one of the trainers gave her a Rangers practice puck for Henrik. I was at a sponsors cocktail party (pretty cool, got to meet Gary Bettman and have a great talk with him) but the guy in the Coyotes jersey was my son in law. He's a Phoenix native

If someone recorded the game and has that clip, I would dearly love to get it for them.

I was surprised at how few Rangers fans there appeared to be at the game, to me it was maybe 10%. I'd have expected near half for an original contending big market six team, just look at when Chicago or Philly are there.
What gives, is our base really that small compared to other NHL markets and NY teams or was this opening night plus October lowering the turnout.
