Since the "Business" thread should be renamed to all things Arizona Thread, I'll leave this here:

Gosbee: Coyotes could achieve profitability earlier than expected

agreement with Gila River Casinos that will pay in the neighborhood of $3.5 million
$15 million to $20 million in revenue sharing
also receive an additional $5 million this season due to the success of the league's Stadium Series
each team will receive an average of about $9 million to $15 million annually over the life of the (new tv) deal
That's on top of the revenue coming from the deal with NBC

Work can actually be ones great ability to handle depression, just as long as the sociopaths in management don't get into the way of things.

You're telling me. In all the bad luck I've had with employment in the last 6 months, it's really easy to slip into a depression and start thinking "Why the hell should I submit my resume to these guys, they won't call me anyway."

And then not do it. And then not get a job because you didn't even submit a resume.

And then continue not submitting resumes and just drink yourself stupid. Then one day wake up and realize you ate all your food and spent your last dollar.

Yeah, I'm almost there. ****

Sounds like it's time for a switch of careers?

Those of you who are getting trigger-happy about 13-game plans ... just buy the 41-game plan

At the rate things are going in places like Ferguson Missouri and South Chicago, it looks like the only way solve such a mess is to send the National Guard.
If you go into a community ready for war, a war will take place. The images I've seen on TV are of mostly peaceful protests being confronted with MRAP's and assault rifles. Some of the police in Ferguson are wearing gear that we don't even wear in Afghanistan. Adding the Army to that will just make it worse.
Use of Militia and Armed Forces to Enforce Federal Authority
Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, assemblages, or rebellion make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State or Territory, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State.

Interference with State and Federal law.
The President, by using the militia or the armed forces, or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy.
Kennedy deployed Federal Marshals and the National Guard to universities in the South to force integration. Bush Sr deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots. What I've seen in Ferguson, MO isn't even close.

Edit: Looks like it's happening ... http://news.vice.com/article/missou...ional-guard-to-ferguson?utm_source=vicenewsfb

Try to get a friend or family help you out. Maybe they got connections somewhere and can get you a job. I couldn't find a job on my own after school finished back in April, so my dad helped me out and got me a job at a distribution company he works at, at least till school starts back up in September. Even if it ain't much, it'll keep the money flowing.

By the way you said it, it sounds like South Chicago needs the National Guard more than this town in MO. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out tonight though.

If you haven't seen it check out the Steve Ballmer Clippers fan event. The guy is crazy energetic and passionate. Steve Ballmer and Gates seem like a yin-yang combo with Ballmer being loud, passionate, and forceful while Gates was quiet and calculating. No wonder Microsoft did so well under these two.

Until Ballmer scoffed and laughed at the iPhone and set Microsoft back tremendously in the smartphone wars with Apple, Samsung and the like. Oh well, just a small blemish on an outstanding career, just like Bill Gates and... well, the entirety of Windows Vista

All kidding aside, I have tremendous respect for those two. I'm actually a computer science student (aspiring software engineer) and always attributed my tech nerdiness and aspirations of software engineering to two individuals named Steve: Ballmer and Wozniak

Gates was not actually that much of a forward thinker, and Ballmer was credited with running Microsoft straight into the ground while squandering away so many opportunities that it's comical. Can't forget about those developers.

We deserve to be welfare rich considering teams in the USA have helped out some of the teams in Canada via the CAP. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other teams are the same way like Nashville, Carolina, or any 1 of the So Cal NHL Teams for that matter, maybe even Ottawa?.

You could reduce anything down to its base level and mock it in exactly the same way. Sex, friendship, food, consumerism, career aspirations, marriage, family, religion, anything. Oversimplify and dismiss. It's not hard.

Got in a fight at the gas station the other day. A man came up to me while I was on the phone asking for a cigarette, and when I ignored him, he pushed me. I dropped my phone told him to **** off and went inside to proceed with my transaction, the QT clerk alerted me that the man was right behind me, I turned around and he grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me outside, ripping my shirt completely off of me. This dude had 50 pounds on me at least. When he pulled me outside he punched me in the eye and gave me a nice lil shiner, but then I did a double leg take down and started to hit him in the face, he tried to get up, and i threw my knee into his face and knocked him out. Now I'm being brought up on aggravated assault. I know that it was immature of me to stoop to his level, but he laid his hands on me twice, and i responded. The police are even trying to bring up assault with a deadly weapon because I have a belt in mixed martial arts and military training. Is that even allowed? I didn't use a weapon? Wasn't I the victim? Just because it ended with him getting knocked unconscious doesn't mean that I should have the worst of the punishment, it was self defense.

I'm asking for legal advice, anyone. I'm 22 years old and I'm trying to get back into the military, but if these charges are enforced on me, my career is over. Anybody know of any good lawyers? I don't have much for family, and everyone I've talked to has said they can't help me. I'm afraid of getting locked up for this. It was self defense and it is all on camera. I feel I am being treated extremely unfairly by the Mesa Police department. If anybody has any knowledge that can help, please contact me.

I wish I could help in the legal department Rabbit, but I can't. However, I'll just say that I think if they charge you for anything for just defending yourself like that, that it's a bunch of ****.
