That’s a pretty rough list. None of them are getting in next year & frankly Hamels might be the only one that has an argument at any point.
Next year will be a great opportunity for guys late in their ballot cycle to pick up votes, they’re gonna look like Babe Ruth against that list. Even as a Big Hall guy, you have Hamels and maybe Braun?
I don’t know with Braun. Not necessarily sure his resume would be strong enough even without the PED’s.

Cole Hamels is my namesake on this website and I don’t see him anywhere near the HOF. I’ll be shocked if he gets in.
Hamels is considered a maybe too. Even among the Big Hall people. It all depends on how you want to handle modern SPs. He’s below the traditional line, but the game has changed. If you’re a Felix or Buehrle voter or you would vote for Johan Santana, you should probably vote for Hamels. If not, I understand both ways.
The most interesting litmus for me is DeGrom, when that time comes. It'll define this era of arm injuries and HOF votesIf Hamels doesn’t get in, they’re going to induct 0 Pitchers between Sabathia and Greinke/Verlander/Kershaw/Scherzer with no one else on the horizon afterward except Cole if he ages well. It’s an interesting litmus test.
