Loved these games.

I also liked one of the first triple play baseball's had a extreme hr derby mode that let you play in crazy settings like on a pool table or a living room and you'd break stuff with the HR's.

I think one of the years they had a points mode with targets in the stadium to add up a total.

There are loads of younger umpires in the minors who deserve a chance. They've been brought up under the new rules (pitch clock and, when eventually implemented, automated strike zones) and were taught to properly align themselves behind the catcher to call balls and strikes. The numbers show the younger umpires, taught to line their head up with the center of the plate, call pitches better than the old ones who put their head over the catcher's shoulder, offset from the center of the plate.

It's time to bring these guys up and start skimming the umpire pool.
