Yup! They're both around a year of recovery. I feel like TJ might be a month or 2 longer but I could be wrong there. It's at least a year for both, that's for sure.

TJ is cutting out the damaged UCL and replacing it with a ligament from your hamstring or a cadaver. UCL bracing is cleaning up the tear in the ligament (shaving off the tatters, etc), stitching it back together, then affixing a stiff but stretchy device across the stitched tear and along the length of the existing UCL, anchored from humerus to the ulna. I can find a pic of that doesn't make sense.

They were pretty bad last April offensively but this is atrocious. Have a pretty favorable 10 game home stretch and it hasnt started well.
