It’s not as bad when you consider they put two position players to pitch the 9th inning. Esteban Quiroz only got one out and gave up 9 runs.

Wait. Now it's $16m? It was $4.5m a couple weeks ago and at the time it was said it was like $500,000 increments. Which would have been 9 transfers.

How the hell does he get $16m out without any double-checks or anything?

Ohtani got so much in endorsements coming in that he didn't even realize he was down $16m until the Feds were like "hey, this is how much was taken from ya" ?
