Ok what is threads? I would love to not pay attention to Twitter
Remember when Twitter first came out and it was useful and did not suck?
That is Threads now.

Didn't you get perma-banned before Elon bought Twitter?
That was Rhys Hoskins for a bit and people hated him lol.I wonder what the value is of some hypothetical player that never gets a hit but walks 100 times a year and is a master of driving up pitch counts by fouling balls off; like routinely 10-15 pitch at-bats
How about a little person like Eddie Gaedel? Who was 3'7" and then MLB banned people under 5 foot from playing lol. Of course he wasn't fouling anything off. He just went to the plate with a microscopic strike zone and would probably walk on 4 to 6 pitches every time. You're kinda screwed when he gets to first though. (in his only appearance they needed to remove him for a pinch runner)I wonder what the value is of some hypothetical player that never gets a hit but walks 100 times a year and is a master of driving up pitch counts by fouling balls off; like routinely 10-15 pitch at-bats
If you asked some Reds fans that was Joey Votto for a while.I wonder what the value is of some hypothetical player that never gets a hit but walks 100 times a year and is a master of driving up pitch counts by fouling balls off; like routinely 10-15 pitch at-bats
Yes, but while you mentioned reading replies... have you stopped to consider this?*I am afraid to read the replies because I would bet people think that’s a good deal. That card should be moved privately for cash and as quickly as humanly possible. Period.
There was a kid that pulled the only Sammy Sosa 1/1 in the middle of the ‘98 stretch run in Haddonfield. A bunch of people including me tried to tell them that no matter what they thought it was worth, they should take the best cash offer they could get before the season ended. The best cash offer of which I’m aware would have roughly paid for 2 years of college. They held firm to their number and ended up selling it for mid 3 figures a few years later. People will never learn.

*I post this because it reminds me of the many times you've talked about how unbelievably awful it is to be a woman on social media. Good grief.
if i pulled it ..i would ask for the cash value of what they are offering lolI am afraid to read the replies because I would bet people think that’s a good deal. That card should be moved privately for cash and as quickly as humanly possible. Period.

I’m 99% sure it’s still sitting in the display case in the store in which it was pulled. The guy just bought it because it was a good memory. People will never learn.
But why? Sometimes I wonder if the card industry is a bit like the art industry where it’s often used for money laundering and stuff like thatThere was a 1/1 Jason Dominguez autograph card that sold for $474k.
It is. It definitely is. That world is very very shady. But why? Sometimes I wonder if the card industry is a bit like the art industry where it’s often used for money laundering and stuff like that
