I think it's more if you're too blatant about it. The Marlins are claiming it's to protect him from innings, but they intend to let him pitch once a week or so in the minors and then presumably will call him back up later in the year. Considering he's just under 60 days service time they pretty much only need to hold him down until prob mid August.I thought this was illegal now? But also, isn't this pretty common for younger guys during the all star break?
