That was a dominant series by the Phillies despite how close it felt for you all.

Congrats on the second biggest win in Philly sports tonight.

It really was. Braves outplayed them for maybe two innings all series.

It wasn't pretty in the end but to win two games in a clear pitching mismatch against Strider and only allow 1 run in 18 innings. Incredible.

Suarez seems like an automatic 4-6 IP 0-1 run guy in the playoffs. Clutch

Some players that have faced criticism like Turner and Nick were giants in this series and game. Kimbrel was put in a tight spot, walked the first batter to load the bases then threw a ball one to the NL MVP. He recovered though which I think is huge. Questionable and stressful bullpen but they got the job done. It wasn’t pretty

But the Braves have Strider this year. 1927 Yankees. 100+ wins. Phillies are the better team and built for playoff series. Lots of ~90 win teams are more dangerous in the postseason.

Can’t overlook the Diamondbacks though. How many would have thought that would have been the NLCS at any point this year?
