I was not one of these people thankfullyHisterical that so many Phillies fans here had no interest whatsoever in Teoscar Hernandez. He'd be our 3rd best player.
Him & Abel have apparently been showing signs of life recently.
hitting coach has to go right? all the young guys have regressed. what has this guy done? This team is not good. I had them pegged at 90-92 wins and maybe missing the Playoffs but that may have been optimistic. Lineup is very easy to pitch to.

Mystified by Matt Liberatore lol

Reports were he only wanted to sign in LA. The Reds went hard after him before ending up having to settle for Hays who is hurt ....Histerical that so many Phillies fans here had no interest whatsoever in Teoscar Hernandez. He'd be our 3rd best player.

Tale as old as time.
Yeah I was more referencing offseason conversations we had about possible OF upgrades prior to Teoscar signing with LA.
He is a horrendous fit on this squad from every angle: his approach, his swing and miss, his defense, and his contract. One way ticket to nocandosville3 years at 32yo and one of the worst defensive players in the entire league. I’m standing by that one for this team.
Others can absorb that profile better. They already have Castellanos filling that archetype. I don’t think anyone’s in a hurry to dislodge Schwarber. That leaves you without a ton of wiggle room. If they traded Castellanos, sure. It’s not like they didn’t try.
