Desharnais should be scratched for his performance yesterday. MT will probably still give him more TOI than Galchenyuk though.

Why not try Shaw at Centre?

Lehkonen - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Pacioretty - Plekanec - Gallagher
Danault - Shaw - Carr
Byron - Mitchell - Flynn

Beaulieu - Weber
Emelin - Petry
Markov - pateryn
After what happened last night, might as well
I remember Shaw played some centre in Chicago
I'm a fan of that 3rd line, Danault's board play, Shaw's net-front presence, and Carr's little bit of everything makes for a very balanced 3rd line

Chicago fans in the summer: As long as Shaw doesn't play top six or centre you will love him

Habs fans today: Let's put Shaw at centre after playing in the top six

Desharnais has got to be scratched after last night. **** it, just go:

Lehkonen - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Pacioretty - Plekanec - Gallagher
Carr - Danault - Shaw
Byron - Mitchell - Flynn

We will never win anything with Desharnais as our 2c. He wins 0 1v1 battles, so soft and just useless, he will get eaten alive in the playoffs. How on earth does coaching and management not see this? I'm seriously baffled. I'd call up Hudon or McCarron and roll with

Lehkonen-Galchenyuk-Radulov
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Gallagher
Mac/Hudon-Danault-Shaw
Byron-Mitchell-Flynn

If we lose 2 out of next 3 games, MT must get fired. This is a decent team that is a just a couple pieces away from being the 'real thing'. If he can't manage a little bit of adversity then **** him.

Honestly Habs have to go on a skid for him to get fired.

And I mean, the team is 9-1-1 why would he get fired after two more losses?

I don't like him either, but I'm fairly sure after keeping him after last season Bergevin isn't going to cut him loose after 3 losses in 15 games

Yup. That's how the top 6 finished the 2nd half of the game, so we'll probably see that tonight. Even though it's not all on DD, he was terrible last night, and there has to be some type of consequence for someone to send a message to the team that you can't roll over and die like they did.

Danault also should get a promotion because he has been excellent to start the year, and DD has gone 7 straight games without a point.

If Plekanec gets 67/11 then he needs to start getting on the score sheet.

Hopefully they bounce back tonight! This team, like all teams, has a lot of pride and I'm sure they felt humiliated after last night. This should be a fun game.

hope desharnais is scratched its like he falls all over the place and doesn't even know how to skate half the time and loses 99.9% of the battles along the boards. he's a boy playing amongst men.

Desharnais won't be benched or waived with the current management

And mccaron isn't ready to take his duties and there is no room

Pacioretty and Plekanec both needs to have a great game and lead by exemple tonight.

Anyway we should win tonight, what's Price record on saturday nights at the bell center? I think he won like 20 of his last starts.

Should be a good, high scoring game, with possible goon'ish behavior if things don't go our way. Win-win no matter what for the viewer

Pacioretty - DD - Gallagher :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: :cry::cry::cry: :rant::rant:

second line yet, Boy blunder gets moved up after last night debacle. Last 5 games all zero's for goals, assists, and 11 shots on goal in 10 games with PP time. He should be sitting in the press box and call up Mccaron for crying out loud.

I hate to see them lose, but part of me wishes for another blowout loss in front of the home crowd. Maybe that'll hasten a needed change. We sucked for the last 4 games now and if it wasn't for Price, well the rest is obvious.

No one cares
As much as I want DD gone and benched for last night, I will be most intrigued as I watch our player voted captain, he has been completely lousy for over a year now and I want to see what he is made of tonight, he has to be much better no scratch that, he has to play like he actually gives a ****. I don't care if he gets a point, just go out there and compete, show some guts.

You mean, he won 1 out of 1000 board battles?

Holy hell, Desharnais was involved in 1000 board battles?? I didn't knew that... :sarcasm:
