Hell no. That 3rd line (Pinto, Greig, Amadio) has been their best line for awhile now. They play against opponent's top lines and still produce, spend most of their time in O-zone, Pinto/Greig also great on the PK. I'd be shocked, shocked, if he were traded away. The Senators are now set in the middle with Stutzle, Cozens, Pinto.

He doesn't need to pass as much if he keeps doing what he just did! In fact, would be better if he learned to be a bit more play selfish.

Btw - strange thing is by him being more one-off play selfish (opting to shoot more than pass) he is actually not being team selfish in that he delivers more to the team. I trust that makes some sense.

I totally get what you're saying. In the playoffs, goals are hard to come by so trying to score is helping the team as opposed to trying to help linemates score. What frustrates me with Stu is that when they get behind, he tries to do the impossible play which usually leads to a turnover. If he would just consistently shoot more, then there are better odds that the score will be in Sens favor.

Best case scenario is for Jensen and Brady to be 100% for game 1 after this rest.

During an interview earlier in the season, Jensen said he would have to manage his injury for the remainder of the season. I'm sure resting helps, but sounds like he may need some work done in the off-season.

Yeah he’s good in Open ice, -2 on the game and soft with his passing. He worries me, I don’t think he sees the ice that well and he never seems to take command of a period He’s not impact he’s just there trying hard

What have they gone through? Multiple deaths? Bad diagnosis from doctors to multiple teammates? Don’t think they’ve been through anything abnormal except for bad goaltending.

Having Cozens does not make Pinto expendable.

What would it take?

Pinto is valued highly by the Senators org. When he scores we win. His line has probably been our best line for at least the last 1 1/2 - 2 months even though it could be listed as the 3rd line on some websites.

You will balk if you heard what it would cost your team (Minnesota I believe), so I doubt if there’s a productive conversation to be had on this subject.
