@JojoTheWhale it seems like Spagnolo's D gets better the later games go - is that reasonable?
To me, the game was always about running the ball to score TDs. As soon as we faltered here, it's been over. The defense cannot be trusted.

They had 9 minutes of possession in the first half. Its not unreasonable to expect this hailed "great D" to do something to help us win the game. So far they really haven't.
I agree that this was always end up a high scoring game but this D really hasn't shown up at all tonight which is embarassing IMO even if its (hobbled) Mahomes.

Yes, it is unreasonable to say we have a trash D just because we can't stop Mahomes
It's the #1 offense for a reason. We can't get pressure on Mahomes because he gets the ball out and he's crazy smart. I kind of expected that.
