I don't really get it at this point. I mean it would be one thing if it was like 20 years ago and he'd be looking at a massive pay cut. He's making $25m between salary + roster bonus. His Fox Sports contract to become an announcer is 10 yrs/$375m.

He also doesn't seem like he lives some kind of wild/enjoy the football player/celeb lifestyle and everything is super regimented and planned out.
