“Here’s the situation.” Dead.

I really thought you were going to say re-sign Miles and I was going to be very surprised.

I have absolutely no idea how to determine Pollard’s market. He’s probably going to get enough carries this year to make too much, but it’s not guaranteed. Not a lot of wear and tear. It’s at least theoretically possible.

I'm assuming the Cowboys cut Elliot and keep Pollard, truthfully

Hopefully Jerruh has the good sense to cut Elliott loose (i.e. not re-sign him) and Pollard goes nowhere.

Tony Pollard has been the better back for 4 years now. During that term, the Cowboys paid Zeke and the owner takes to the media multiple times a year to talk about how the teams goes as Zeke goes. He calls him the key to everything.

So maybe. But I’ll believe it when I see it.

*Edit* There are also plenty of quotes about how they don’t think Pollard holds up to a heavier workload. They’re wrong, but they do say it.

It’s just nice to have one damn team that tries to step on people’s throats.

Yes, that was a terrible play by Julian Love. But that’s what being aggressive does. More opportunities for someone to screw up.

*Edit* The GB QB did not miss a tackle.

The first time I read Doyle Brunson's "Super System" my eyes were opened to this concept. So simple, and applicable in many aspects of life in general. Making your own luck is a real thing.

That's a compelling case - and Jerry is, well, Jerry - but I have a feeling when $$$ comes up, Jerry won't be able to make it work.

I do love that my whole argument is based on Jerry Jones not being willing to spend money on players he likes...maybe I'm on the wrong side of this one...

Good 1st half. The highest points the Giants scored all year is 27. So it getting pretty close for them, though their coaching staff is very good too.
