It didn't look like they had many plays with short fast-throw routes built in. They were asking too much of the O Line and Howell to let things develop. They've gotta address that. Then there will be more successful passes.


You can fix everything by taking whatever the under is in this GB and Chicago game. I think they total 9 points. 6 points for Chicago, and then 3 for GB thanks to Justin Fields doing some idiotic OSU QB thing.

That’s what simulated pressures are designed to do. There’s supposed to be a hot adjustment for those situations. The QB knows by the protection that the right side is where he needs to look first. Hurts didn’t, but I also didn’t see a hot run anywhere. Looked like a miscommunication on a few axes. Definitely not on Lane, though.
