Waddle went 36th in my league.
This is a good thing (because I think you were #12).

I'm watching at a Bday party full of Pats fans. I know it won't be but it would be nice to be over at half timeI think it stays close til the 4th quarter. Then the Eagles depth and talent advantages take over and they win going away.
Score at the half: Eagles 14-Pats 10
Final: Eagles 31- Pats 16
He's getting traded.Disappointed that the Bucs didn't/ aren't resigning Evans
It's possible...I'm unsure and not as optimistic as some Bucs fans are who say it's just a negotiation tactic...the Bucs are in cap hellHe's getting traded.
If you have Waddle, it seems irresponsible not to have a "waddle like a Duck" reference in your team name.He is a proud member of the Alabama Crimson *Insert Name Here*.
This is going to go over well in this city.
Johnson had a stationary QB in Florida and wasn't much of a running QB after his knee injury in college.
So it won't surprise me if he wants to morph Hurts into more of a conventional pocket QB who uses his legs to extend plays, and fewer ROs where he's exposed to big hits. At least from TC reports, Hurts continues to improve as a passer, and it looks like they want to use Swift and Gainwell more in the passing game (with that OL, the RB screen should be a staple, go look at film of AR as an Eagles coach). With Brown, Smith, Goedert and RBs with hands, they shouldn't have to rely on Hurts as a runner.
Running QBs tend to rely on their legs less as they mature, look at Steve Young, for example.RB Screens are only good if you design your whole offense for them to be good. It's not the Line. It's an approach to football. Everything Hurts does best takes away the Screen as part of your scheme.
Shane Steichen came from coaching Philip Rivers and Justin Herbert. Steichen designed the offense around the talent he had because that's what good coaches do.
If this is right, I am completely out on the Eagles until an OC change is made. I don't think the org is incompetent enough to allow this tree of decisions to happen. It's exactly what the 2020 Flyers would do.

The ROs allowed Hurts to use his athleticism as he learned how to play QB.
But running QBs tend to have a shorter shelf live b/c of the physical punishment they take over time.
At some point you have to morph them into "real" QBs who don't depend on their legs to make plays.
So it makes sense that you'd reduce dependence on plays that expose Hurts to injury (he tends to take the biggest hits on the RO where I think some coaches just tell the defender to take him and ignore the ball).
A key to RB screens are OL athletic enough to get down field and hit targets on the second level,
Kelce, Jergens and Lane are probably the most athletic trio in the league.
A good coach designs the offense around his talent? Well, that right side of the OL is the talent.
