That’s the stuff with Barkley that actually does separate him. You get him 1v1 in the hole with some wiggle room and he houses it. No matter how football changes, that will always matter.
The difference between The Running Backs and running backs will always be acceleration. If you can hit a hole and hit top speed once you hit that 2-5 yard area (depending on where you get the ball) past the LOS you will always have a job

Yall are hilarious. Thats why these guys are DBs. Otherwise, they'd be on offense.
This is not a "if he could catch, they'd be a WR" situation. This is a "he was not strong enough to even knock the ball down on an underthow". That was a horrendous by a bad DB. Not mention he was burned to begin with

Nice one

He is, by the way. Been one all season

Rodgers is fine. Very happy to have him around cheaply for a long time.

What happened to him is what usually happens to these DBs. They don’t have the ball skills of an NFL WR, so they tend to not try to high point a ball and snatch it. He tried to either body or basket catch it. You’re completely out leveraged in any tussle at that point.

What a play CJ

Knock. It. Down. Dude is a bum.

Exactly. If he instead goes for the PBU instead of trying to catch it...and we are happy.

Every DB wants picks.

QM is better. Hope he's back today/next week...but I can live with 34 as the backup.

@JojoTheWhale - I assume you would be the best person to answer this - at what point after a failed passing play does it make sense to decline a holding penalty. Obviously a 3rd to 4th down. But is it less likely to convert a 1st and 20, than a 2nd and 10? Obviously the decision would be affected by field position as well.

Anyone else can answer, just curious the likelihood of first down conversions
