Frances Tiafoe just won his match at the Australian Open and some fans told him that Washington won their playoff game, so in his post-match interview he starts talking trash about the Eagles. And I used to like him!

Nothing even happened. The big guy stopped before Hurts shuffled over and just stood there. He did literally nothing.

Slaton's height in inches is more than double the amount of yards Hurts passed for in 3 quarters

I could be wrong, but I don't think you typically see a QB get in someone's face after a situation like that, as in being the first one to step up there. No one said he threw down w/ the guy, but he definitely got in his face about it, and it's the small things like that which separate certain QB's from others in regards to teammates respect, etc. (note--I'm not saying Hurts is above reproach, I'm strictly speaking on this situation)

I don't think Jalen had that great of a game last night, well after starting 6/6 (and it was almost perfectly timed for his throws to be off/the pass blocking to not work that well at times after the TV crew mentioned he had started 6/6). But at the end of the day, he did get the job done, and I think there's some positives to take from this game, as in the offense not clicking like it had been the last several weeks of the regular season, but they still got the plays that mattered.

Now, you take the week to regroup, especially after pretty much losing Dean for the rest of the playoffs--and if it is in fact a "significant knee injury", he's probably out most/all of next year too--and you just start getting to work on the next opponent.

Football players spend enough time talking about how they'll go the extra physical mile and abuse themselves harder for a QB who does stuff like this, but at this stage Hurts has put in enough mileage with the sneaks and runs that this won't move the needle

Denying his interview request was wild. It seems they genuinely didn't know by last week whether they would keep him or not.

Which is crazy. You've watched the man coach for 5 seasons. Zero excuse to not have made up your mind weeks/month ago and go into the offseason with an actual plan.

Coaching interviews with the hottest candidates have already been happening. They put themselves behind for no reason whatsoever.

Games not over but I’m still amused and confused how the Vikings finished 14-3. Granted I didn’t pay attention to them but on paper that has to be one of the weakest 3 losses in the season teams in recent memory
