I don't think you can possibly handle DBs any better than Howie has over the last few years. Even the low cost fliers that didn't work out made so much sense -- Jacob Harris, Caden Sterns, Eli Ricks, etc etc. I did not like Ringo at all and I still am just over the moon with what they've done.

There's another one I'm trying to recall you were a big fan of - a 2-year CB I think we got from Denver for like a 7th

Maybe Kary Vincent in ‘21? That’s a weird one because I liked him as a late round flier coming out, but was surprised he was worth a 6th at that point rather than a swap.

I liked the Tay Gowan inclusion in the Ertz deal too. Really, they took great swings in general. They all had paths to NFL success. I think they handle the positions immeasurably better than they did from 2015-2020ish. The one bleeping year in there they valued getting a 3rd Safety, they won the SB. :laugh:

I basically just watch Eagles games due to time constraints so my insight on this is non-existent to players outside of the Eagles sphere. So, was Sewell, definitely and without question, better than Lane this season at RT? This seemed like one of the Lane’s best seasons and I was slightly surprised he didn’t get first-team All-Pro.

BTW, I’m aware that Sewell is very good.

Definitely and without question separation at the top of OL rankings is basically impossible. Quite frankly, no one other than OL specialists are watching enough of every OL in the league to really make these calls. There's just too much variation in what players are asked to do and who they have to do it against. All of Sewell, Lane, and Zach Tom (GB) had truly high end seasons. Any result is fine.

I'm a little more surprised that Wirfs was the LT. He's been excellent basically since day 1, but I thought perception was that he wasn't quite as good as Mailata and Rashawn Slater this year.
 
Do we think he'll bite on any of these jobs?

At a surface level, I'd say the Bears - but I suppose that heavily depends on whether or not he thinks Caleb Williams is *the guy* already.
