An interesting point Shawn Syed brought up: Are we sure this particular problem isn’t coaching just being fed up with the Turnovers? He’s historically been willing to let 50-50 balls rip to at least AJB. He was even doing it to start the year, but was turning the ball over left and right. So maybe it’s that he’s capable of A or B, but not a middle ground. Not good, obviously. But it’s just weird.

Testing my memory here, but wasn't this also a McNabb thing where he had a sparkling INT% but a lot of it was due to him avoiding high risk/reward throws, especially over the middle? Granted, he didn't have the same talent at WR as Hurts does, but this just echoes familiar.

His son is the DC at Washington. I’d imagine he follows Bill in the same capacity at UNC. Bill trying to get him a future landing spot there as his successor probably plays a part in this.

You also naturally have a full control of your football operation as a head coach at the college level which I don’t think anybody in the NFL was offering him.

I think as Eagles fans, we should be very happy about this. I’m of the opinion that even 15-2 with a Divisional or particularly miserable NFCCG loss could absolutely get Sirianni fired. And we know Lurie was interested.

Yes. Mechanics were often weird. The good part was that unlike Wentz, he tended to miss low.

Why is he doing this? I remember last week something came out that part of the agreement was thought to be his son automatically being elevated to HC when he retired. Is he just doing this to get his son's foot in the door?

The worst part about this is he won't be on the manningcast anymore

As someone who lives in Raleigh, let me just say that I f***ing hate everything about this mainly because people around here aren't going to shut the f*** up about it for the next 20 years.

Belichick is going to fart at practice and we're going to have breaking news segments on all channels about how it will impact the future of football in the state. God f***ing dammit I hate this so much

Someone out there mentioned it seemed like he was scared of turning it over

In other words, you either have Sirianni as a problem, Hurts as a problem, or some combo of the two

In other other words, most of us have been right the whole time.

Let's put the new Eagles stadium in SE Philly where all the low rent housing is and not give anyone any choice in the matter. Just old white men doing old white men things
