Ok so we either trade up 10 picks and grab one or trade down 10 picks for moar depth

Ok, so depending on how you define 1st rounder that could actually be extremely similar. My buckets are

Top 5 or Impact guys
1st
Late 1/Early 2
2/3
Early Day 3
Late Day 3

For me, I'm just counting guys in the first two categories I have as solid 1sts. If I was talking to the media and drafting at 32, I would probably count the guys in that late 1/early 2 group too. That takes me to 20 or 21 depending on which day you ask me about Nick Scourton (who came in for a visit) plus I'm assuming Cam Ward. If you include both, that's 22.

I usually have anywhere from 10 to 20 or so 1sts. It's light, but it's not unheard of to be this low. I would guess I have Cam Ward in there on positional value which would get you to 12 true 1s for me. NFL teams never have 32 guys in the 1st round. That's just not how it works. There's too much scheme variety. Most boards are either less than 100 names or not too far over.

I don’t claim to be a draft expert, but I watched Jefferson multiple times that year bc that lsu team was a unit and you just knew he was a freak. It was the same thing as Devonte Smith. Screw whatever the numbers say, you just knew those guys could ball just by watching them on Saturdays. I had never heard of Reagor before draft season, that’s rarely a promising thing in the first round I’ve found especially at a flashy position like wr.
